WHAT HAS HAPPENED?

If you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The following has happened.
a.) Jesus Christ has come into your life (your innermost being) through the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells you this in Acts 2 v 38, 1 Corinthians 3 v 16 & 6 v 19
b.) Your past sins have been completely forgiven
c.) You are now a member of God's Family. You have Christian brothers and sisters in the faith
d.) You have received eternal life. When you die, your soul will live in Heaven with God.

WHERE'S THE PROOF?

a.) God can be trusted and his Words in the Bible can be trusted
 b.) The Bible says
 (I) "For I am certain that nothing can separate us from His love: neither death nor life; neither angels or other heavenly rulers or powers; neither the present nor the future; neither the world above or the world below---there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord. " Romans 8: 38-39

(II). "Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8: 1-2

(III). "And this is the Testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." 1 John 5 v: 11-12

SUGGESTIONS TO GROW AS A CHRISTIAN

a). Read the Bible on a regular basis

b). Consider Baptism by Immersion as a step of Obedience and a witness to you faith.
c). Regularly Pray to Jesus and ask him help you grow in knowledge and understanding of Him
d). Join a local church that preaches and teaches the BIBLE
e). Join a Bible Study Group that will encourage you in the faith
f). Cultivate friendships with Christian friends who will support and pray for you during the good times and the tough times. Friends you can chat to.
g). Have fun with Christians. They are not as boring as you may think.
h). Join a Christian Chat room or group on the Internet.
i). Visit your local Christian bookshop and ask for a book suited to new Christians.
j). Read the Parable about the Sower Matthew 13: 1-9 then the explanation in verses 18-23
k). Don't Give Up when the future is hard and may God richly bless you in your future walk with him.
